Birth Photography

Thank you so much for considering me to be the one to join you in capturing your moments as you bring your baby earthside.

The birth of a child is an incredibly special and momentous occasion for any family. As a birth photographer my aim is to capture and preserve the raw emotions such as the anticipation, pain and wonder of new life.

Births are unpredictable and can happen at any time so my commitment to my birth clients is to be on call 24/7, from 38 weeks until baby is born. The plan is me to arrive when you are in establish labour and stay up to two hours after your baby is born.

More than merely documenting deliveries I capture all these intimate moments, and details of the birth experience, ensuring that these memories can be cherished for a lifetime.

Trained as a doula, I respect and have a great understanding of the importance of oxytocin in labor and how to be a calm presence in the birth space. I very much blend in the background so you won’t notice I am here but if needed, I can be there for you in your birthing journey – emotionally, physically, informatively ultimately creating a positive experience for you to own.

A birth is an extremely intimate time and I want to make sure you feel completely at ease with me before booking. Therefore, I want to meet you, connect with you, and get to know one another before booking. Once you have decided that I am the right birth photographer for you, I will arrange a pre-birth consultation with you and your partner. We’ll go through your birth plans and I’ll answer all the questions and ease any fears you might have.
